My imagination is captured by forms, colour and textures in our world. Observing details in the natural landscape, its rocks and how the land has been shaped, has an emotional connection for me, in making photographs. I am also drawn to our human sculpted landscapes - how our marks on the landscape are an expression of feelings of place and memories.
This fascination started young, loving exploring my local woods, and reading about places around the world, collecting photographs from National Geographic, and putting them in scrapbooks. To now going out regularly with my camera to make my own images of a world that sparks my curiosity and joy.
